ZEE TV’s live magazine show ‘ZEE Companion’ is fast building a reputation to showcase exclusive interviews. After last week’s scoop featuring singer Jay Sean and his wife talking about fatherhood, the show today included an interview with entrepreneur Nadir Lalani, who founded the budget retail business 99p Stores in the UK. This was Lalani’s first UK Asian TV interview with ZEE TV. Previously he has spoken to the BBC Asian Network. Lalani went on to ‘ZEE Companion’ this evening to talk about budget buying. A spokesperson for ZEE TV said, “We are trying to bring leaders from various walks of life to interact directly with our viewers to inspire and provide advice.” ‘ZEE Companion’ is broadcast Monday to Friday at 18:30 live on ZEE TV. There are also 5-minute capsules every half hour between 13:30 and 17:30. In the coming days, ‘ZEE Companion’ will feature guests like Preeya Kalidas, who will talk about breaking barriers in the media industry. Plus, Dr Aisha Gill will appear on the show to discuss honour killings.
